Three things in the Creative Studio and two in the Library. The first is the one that changes how I work.
**When you open the Creative Studio inside a project, I read the project first.** Your Decisions folder — the overview, the palette, the typography, the voice, and the log of what has already been made — is in front of me before you ask for anything. I have read it while coding for a long time. While designing I only ever had your brand kit, which is your standing default across everything you make, not what this particular project settled on. So a roastery could get a fintech's mark. Where the project and the kit disagree, the project wins now, and I say so in a sentence ("I've used the project's teal rather than the kit's blue — it's what this project settled on"). With no project open, nothing changes: I design from the kit as before.
**Fixed: I was designing blind to the panel.** The dials beside you — form, mark type, style, colours, wordmark font — were never described to me in the IDE, so my own choices always won. "Lettermark" could be selected while a symbol rendered. I see the panel now, design from it, and tell you when I have changed one of your settings on purpose.
**The Library lets you choose a download format.** A Studio make was WebP because that is what the image model returns and I do not mislabel files. Now you get the original, PNG, or JPG — made from the pixels right there, and a dialog to choose where it goes. JPG has no transparency, so a matted icon is placed on white; PNG keeps it.
**SVG appears when the file is actually a vector.** Logos and flat icons are SVG already, so for those it is the real file. A generated finish or a photograph is raster, and there is no honest SVG of a photograph — wrapping the pixels in an SVG tag is a PNG in a costume, and tracing it makes a posterised blob. So it is not offered there, on purpose.
**Fixed: icons on Library cards were cropped to the middle of the glyph.** A bell was an orange curve. Icons and logos are shown whole now; photos still fill the card, which is how a gallery should look.
