Apple’s September event concluded with a series of hardware announcements, headlined by the introduction of the iPhone Duo. This device marks the company’s entry into the foldable phone market, fulfilling long-standing rumors.
Alongside the iPhone Duo, Apple updated several other product lines. The new releases include the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, the Apple Watch Series 12, the Apple Watch Ultra 4, and the AirPods 5.
On the software front, Apple confirmed that iOS 27 will be released on Monday. The operating system was originally announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, with a fall release window specified at that time. The update is free to download for any compatible iPhone and includes the new Siri AI features.
While the livestream has ended, CNET reports that their team is continuing coverage with hands-on impressions of the new devices.
